If you’re a new resident to Virginia, you must have a state car and vehicle inspection conducted immediately. Regardless of how long you’ve been in the state, you can be ticketed for not having a valid Virginia inspection sticker on your windshield. The maximum inspection fee is $12 for motorcycle and $20 for any other vehicle, including trailers and motor homes.
Select Just Tires Virginia locations offer state vehicle inspections. For more information on the inspection call one of your local Virginia locations.
All vehicles in Virginia except those listed below must undergo annual safety inspections:
- Antique vehicles that are at least 25 years old and registered as antique with the DMV
- Any trailer that with cargo weighs fewer than 3,000 lbs. (unless the trailer has brakes – all trailers with brakes must be inspected)
The certified technicians at your local Just Tires understand the specific requirements that must be met to pass a Virginia vehicle inspection, and will work closely with you to determine exactly what your vehicle needs to stay road-ready in The Old Dominion.
